Bit of a long shot, but I'm totally stumped and thought I might ask about it here.
I have owned a Samsung series 6 LCD (UB46B6000) for 8 months now, and have a PC connected to it from DVI->HDMI for movies. It has performed with no problems whatsoever, but since yesterday, the PC doesn't display in fullscreen when the resolution on the PC is set at 1920x1080. There's a black border extending roughly 3 cms from the sides and 1cm from the top.
I've tried everything I can think of to fix it, changing the picture size on the TV as well as changing the resolution on the PC. In lower resolutions, such as 1680x1050 it displays in fullscreen without any trouble, but obviously at a much lower quality. The native resolution of the TV is 1080p.
Just wondering if anyone has ran into the same problem and can offer some assistance? It has been in fullscreen at 1920x1080 for months without a single hitch but now for some reason it just won't go back.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I recently tried something similar with my old desktop on my dads series 9... Was getting the opposite of you though, screen was being clipped by about 3cms on all sides... To fix it, I set the TV's image to "Just Scan" instead of 16:9... I was getting your problem if I set the resolution to lower than 720p before I changed the TV's settings. I have no idea if that helps or if you've already tried that, I spent a long time fiddling around before I found that so hopefully it helps you too, good luck! _________________

Make sure that your changes is right , if your setting is working correctly before that problem then set that type of setting . Use control panel and do it . For further assistance refer manual book of your system . _________________ m3i zero
