Biography
Hey guys my name is Andrew.

I've been a player of the games since I was a young age and can remember more points in life holding a master system or NES controller in my hand then without. I'm also very much a lover of just about anything Japanese.

When Zero told me about Yggdra Union, I was pretty interested. Now, I know this would be an American only thing usually, but I'm sure there's ways around it.
Well since it's a digital download I'd assume you would be able to get it as long as you have a US PSN account on your PSP (Which I do) or create one for it. Just means the whole swapping between regions if you also use an AU PSN account.

Welcome Macka, I hope you enjoy your stay. Standard procedure, shoes at the door & jetpacks equipped with paintball guns in the back. Have at it.
I think what he'll be more interested in is the Pokemon cosplaying strippers in the east wing. They're on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday every second week.

Congratulations to the both of you.

VODAFONE SUCK IMO
Surprisingly my dealings with Vodafone this week were the complete opposite.

Went into the store to get a new phone after being **** around by both Optus and Three. Supposedly both of them had the phone I was ordering "in stock" and yet a month later for each one and no phone, an order number that doesn't work and customer service lying to me about what the **** is going on.

Go in, ask the girl if they have the Xperia X10 in stock. Yep they've got it, they ask me all the details and crap, (yes the medicare card is for points of ID and also because it's a more reliable source of ID), and goes through the whole process. Gets to the end and it comes up as being "referred" on the credit check, so she gets me to sign the contract and everything and says it will be 30 minutes for it to go through.

Come back 30 minutes later and I've been declined, with no reason given. She tells me she'll challenge it and get a manager to try and put it through and said she'd call me the next day about it.

I show up after work the next day, I haven't had a mobile for 2 months so I didn't know if she called home or not (turns out she actually did call back and everything), she just looks at me and goes, "I just need to see your student card. I got you put through as a student."

Done and done. Some of the better customer service I've gotten from a telco. Now I have an Xperia X10 and it only took 2 months after the other telco's dicked me around constantly. icon_annoyed.gif

Happy birthday!

I'm actually in Melb this Fri, Sat & Sun. While I've got stuff on all nights, if this meet happens I'll show up for a bit.
Well if you're down with watching some guys play with miniature armies than you can feel free to meet up with myself, FeralOni, Nvus and Jellyfish in the city on Saturday.

Massive **** props go out to theory for mentioning the Threadless sale. I've been needing a few more t-shirts recently and this worked out perfectly for me. Got myself 4 t-shirts and also grabbed one for NVus.

What I got myself:

My personal favourite of the lot is the first one. It's special order only though, so it has to be sent seperately to the rest. Meant another $9 for postage, but so worth it.

For NVus:

That one glows in the dark. :O

Cost me a grand total of $77.28 AUD for the lot. Means I don't need to buy any more t-shirts before I go to Sydney.
Would I be able to grab the white Wii lan adaptor?
Well then my guesses become:

8, 12, 13 and 20
Yeah, I reckon it's kind Raw that someone who has previously produced solid work for other competitions wasn't given a prize in a competition that is based on random selection...

Also, my avatar is Wonderboy. Obviously I'm the most deserving of everyone.
Re: My 22nd B'day! (3 days ago)
I'll be there. Might be late depending on my work roster, but since I already have plans for that Saturday it works fairly well for me.

All fixed. I was the one that screwed up the Fable 3 date though. I obviously clicked on November by accident and just followed through.

As I said to Fetid, can't add new games in under dvdfeeds system. Which is incredibly weak and very, very annoying considering I used to be able to.

Hmm ... what does this mean?
Absolutely nothing. Just means the seperate stock exchange listing for Atlus will be removed and placed under the Index corporate flag.

They will still release/develop/publish games as Atlus, just now they aren't seperately listed on the stock exchange.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare
Warhawk
Street Fighter IV
Resistance
Resistance 2
LittleBigPlanet
Grand Theft Auto IV

how can they tell if its a preowned or a new game? will every game have to punch in a code now?
That's exactly it, they'll just be copying the new method EA have started.

Personally, while not liking it, I can see why they're doing it. The cost of developing mid to hig end high def games is much higher than costs to develop previous generation games and we're still paying the stock standard $120 odd max for a standard edition that we've been paying since the Mega Drive days. They're having to sell more games to make back their money and so they're looking to make an extra buck any way they can and if they don't their shareholders are going to go down on their arses.

I wonder when Persona 3 will come on the AUS PSN Store....
Never I'm guessing. Atlus have no plans whatsoever to release Persona 3 Portable outside of Japan or the US. Which is why I got Lapzod to pick me up a copy while he was in the US.
My god this article has taken what Miyazaki was saying COMPLETELY out of context.

They're not shutting down Ghibli if their latest film goes badly, they've already got another film from Isao Takahata in the works at the moment as well as working on Ni no Kuni with Level 5. What they're currently doing is trying to bring through some of their newer writers and directors to see what they can do.

All it is, is that Toshio Suzuki (Ghibli President and main producer) and Miyazaki have created dissolution plans for if they HAVE to shut Ghibli down.

Being nothing but a lowly writer and part time mod, that's something I can't comment on. That sort of thing would be up to the owner of the site I'd think.

Scammer or not, you're not allowed to post other peoples personal details on the forum. Anyone that does will be issued with a warning and repeat offenders will be banned.

Exaclty and while its not as in depth as playing the original, there will be re cap and over view of the first game on the disc anyway.

At least PS3 owners get to enjoy this awesome game.
It's not really the same though. Sure you'll get a recap of the main plot points, but most likely the side quests and various other smaller things will be completely ignored. It's like getting a 50 page recap of a 500 page novel. Sure you'll get the basics but you'll miss a lot of stuff that can make you love the characters and adds that extra depth to the world. Also you miss out on the emotion induced from taking your own Sheppard through the full 2 games.

I agree with the last point though. Definitely great to see the game going out to a wider audience.

Yeh but everyone has to start somewhere, how is someone who is completely honest and fair able to start trading if no one ever buys or sells to them if they don't have feedback - game exchange would never have got off the ground.
Then do what others have suggested and ask them to post the item first. You can also offer them your contact details so they can also feel secure in the knowledge that they can contact you if they're unsure of what's going on.

That one was actually FeralOni's idea.
