Sweet, looking forward to it. I have been playing through the HL2 series and Portal on Mac. Valve have done a brilliant job with the porting and they run very nicely icon_smile.gif
Fallout: New Vegas, so close, but still so far away icon_sad.gif
A bite size game sounds good to me, the more Dead Space the better icon_smile.gif
Looks like 3 lean months ahead :O

Starcraft 2 is about the only game listed that I will definitely pick up icon_sad.gif
we loved the wii & iPhone versions, the sequel on the PS3 is a day 1 pickup icon_smile.gif
Great news, but with steam works included why can't we have cross platform play
Nice, can't wait to see more icon_smile.gif
An interesting start point, lets see where they take it. I am not sure there are enough features there for many people to take the hook yet.
This has to be fake. It looks like the top has stayed to same to connect the proprietary drives and only the bottom has been changed.

MS would have to make more of a radical shape change to keep the current drives and make it slim as well, otherwise no real benefit.
Excellent, can't wait! icon_smile.gif

I hope they partner with some ISP's, iiNet has deals with Apple and MS I believe for freezone content
I thought the videos weren't included as part of the iiNet deal over Live?
I don't have a 360 so I don't know, all I have been seen the LIVE advertising on the iiNet home page.

As for the Apple iTunes, I use that all the time, the podcasts are excluded but everything else seems to come under Freezone

And with Steam about 1/2 of that seems to come through under freezone

Looking forward to it, so far Portal has been running brilliantly on my MBP, so can't wait for L4D2 and torchlight icon_smile.gif
Nice!! I am really looking forward to RDR, hopefully it lives up to the hype icon_smile.gif

It's nice to get free DLC, but I don't mind paying for quality DLC. So as long as the paid content is up to the quality of the Borderlands DLC. The Zombie and Secret Armory DLC's were well worth their prices icon_smile.gif

And as Cyph stated, if the DLC takes too long to come out after the game people will have moved on.

It must be a hard balance to justify that point of DLC release, too early and the industry complains that the content should have been on the disk, then too late and no-one is interested! Bioware seems to be getting it right with the DA content releases icon_smile.gif
Great news!!! icon_smile.gif

moved onto BF:BC 2. The campaign and spec ops were great, but the online issues pushed me away.
Lol. online issues so you moved to battlefield BC:2, as a chronic battlefield fanatic/early adopter, you made a horrible horrible judgement call icon_wink.gif
Yes, you are right, luckily I wasn't playing it for the first week or so after it was released icon_wink.gif The release of the ps3 version was delayed a week so it wasn't as bad for us.
Thanks for the review, but I will not be getting it, moved onto BF:BC 2. The campaign and spec ops were great, but the online issues pushed me away.
Sounds good icon_smile.gif
A little lean on the updates, but I guess now we can finish the Blue Toad series

I was looking at picking it up for the Mac from gametree online, but I just haven't see any reviews yet. Has anyone got it yet and want to make a comment?
If you didn't know, it uses Cider, meaning it will run a lot worse under OS X than Windows. But it also means that the disc in stores has the Mac and Windows version on it.
I have played several cider based versions of games, some have been very poor, but the recent releases that I have picked up - Spore Galactic Adventures and Dragon Age:Origins have run like a dream on my MBP, iMac & Mac Pro.

Yes I would like native versions, but there hasn't been much to complain about. Wouldn't it be nice if these companies were more like Blizzard, bring on SC2 and Diablo 3. Steam on mac should arrive this month icon_smile.gif

There are some decent ports out there to be played, TellTale did a very good job with the Monkey Island Series and CoD4 by Aspyr is great.

Re: Metro 2033 Review (5 months ago)
After my initial install failed (a physx issue - not sure why but there are many people who seem to be in the same boat) I was a little worried about the quality of the game. But once I got it up and running, the game is worth playing icon_smile.gif
Yep, at first RFG was brilliant but then the repetitiveness set in icon_sad.gif

I hope having a break from the game for a while might bring back its spark allowing me to finish it.

The setting of the game is fine, just add more variety icon_smile.gif
I have picked up Zombie Island and this DLC pack, both are excellent and well worth the $$$
I just picked up torchlight in the deal, I have been waiting for the OS X version. Hopefully Runic will allow steamplay and we can then run Torchlight on Mac or Win. Time will tell but US$5 is not much to ask for a great little game icon_smile.gif
PvZ & Nova are definite buys for me, I just hope there is some upgrade fee rather having to buy again over the iphone version
